Kajiro Sushi wanted a website worthy of its modern image, and to use the “Sushi Pop” launch to rethink everything — image and menu alike. We redesigned the site — mobile-first, fast, conversion-oriented — while steering its brand communication, for full coherence between the site, social media and the campaign.

The context

Kajiro Sushi is a Japanese restaurant brand established in small and mid-sized towns. Its menu, built on fresh produce, goes well beyond sushi: ramen, gyoza, yakitori… and, more recently, “Sushi Pop”, its new signature range.

We were already handling the brand's communication (Instagram, social media). So it was only natural that Kajiro entrusted us with the redesign of its website, to bring everything into line.

The starting point

The existing site was ageing: it no longer reflected the brand's modern, dynamic image, and lacked coherence with the rest of the communication. The Sushi Pop launch became the perfect opportunity to overhaul everything — both the image and the way the menu is showcased.

Our response

We completely redesigned the site to showcase the brand universe, make the products enticing and convey the brand's energy — with pride of place for the new Sushi Pop. Each location now has its own page, with its own details (opening hours, address, contact).

All designed mobile-first and fast, with direct access to what matters: the PDF menu (handy, with allergens) and the Click & Collect site, the number-one ordering channel.

A coherent whole

Because we also steer the brand's communication, we aligned the website, social media and the Sushi Pop campaign. The site went live at the exact moment of the campaign — a synchronised launch, anticipated and delivered in two months.

The results

The result: rising traffic, positive customer feedback, and a visibly elevated brand. The new site feels professional and makes you hungry — exactly the effect sought to support the brand's expansion.

I really like the site's new look: it feels genuinely professional, and it looks great.
