Le Cèdre Bleu
The restaurant that makes you hungry before you even arrive
Giving a historic Lebanese restaurant in Lyon an image worthy of its cuisine — and delivering our first website designed in Arabic too.

- Lebanese dining — Lyon 5
A Lebanese institution in Lyon's 5th, Le Cèdre Bleu wanted communication and a website worthy of its reputation, to win over new customers. We fully redesigned the site — mobile-first, fast, reliable — integrating its new street-food space and opening it up to multiple languages, Arabic included.
The context
Le Cèdre Bleu is a historic Lebanese restaurant in Lyon's 5th. Renowned, home-cooked traditional cuisine — but communication and a website that no longer did it justice. The goal: modernise the image to attract new customers.
Meanwhile, the restaurant opened a street-food space right next door — more snacking, with a little grocery. Two worlds now had to coexist: the traditional table and the snacking spot.
The starting point
The existing site was dated and reflected neither the quality of the cuisine nor the new street-food offer. A familiar starting point for us: rebuild on healthy foundations.
Our response
We completely redesigned the site — mobile-first, very fast and reliable — integrating the street-food space alongside the traditional restaurant. Special care went into the clarity of information: opening hours, offers, and even nearby car parks — a detail that changes everything when you're looking for somewhere to park before dinner.
A standout point: multilingual support, Arabic included. It's our first website in Arabic — a right-to-left language with its own layout rules. A welcome touch, especially for expats, on top of French and English.
What's coming
The next step is already underway: Click & Collect, expected by the end of the year, to extend the experience on the snacking side.
The results
The result: better visibility, far clearer information for visitors, and an image finally worthy of the restaurant. Plus a first Arabic site praised for the quality of its translation.
“It's great — even the Arabic part is really well translated. Thank you!”
