Transferring your application on the App Store

Yumea·

It is not uncommon for an application to pass to a new owner. This is particularly the case when a company — or indeed the application itself — is sold. Until recently, such a transfer was extremely complicated. An application was permanently tied to a given account for life. But that was then. Now, via iTunes Connect, it is possible to transfer an application to another publisher account, once the developer of that application has finished their work and/or decides to sell it. This transfer allows the application to remain visible on the App Store, as before the change, along with the ratings and reviews already left by users. It should be noted, however, that certain constraints remain. In particular, it is not possible to transfer an application to another owner while it is still undergoing validation. Not everyone is aware of this simplification, even though it has been in place for a few years now. There is nothing quite like it for facilitating the creation of a mobile application.
