The 10 Words of the Week #5

Each week, we offer you 10 original, archaic, forgotten, or seldom-spoken words. The aim is to use them at least once in your daily conversations.

1. Irrefragable : Adjective. That which cannot be contradicted. Irrefutable.

2. Facundity : Noun, feminine. Synonym of "verve." Denotes an abundance of words, a great facility for speech, with a certain presence. By extension, can denote excessive talkativeness.

3. Gird : Verb. To encircle; to surround.

4. Dissimilarity : Noun, feminine. Lack of resemblance between two elements or people.
